Why is the Downtown Ruston branch closing?

Although it will not be staffed will tellers, the branch is not closing. You can conduct your transactions using Ellen B. (our Interactive Teller Machine) in Lane 2. Ellen B. is available 24/7, with the option to connect with a Live LNB teller during normal business hours. You always have the choice to bank your way between our locations. 

Why should I use Ellen B.? 

Ellen B. is available 24/7, allowing you to process transactions outside of normal business hours. Additionally, Ellen B. gives you the opportunity to process transactions without transaction slips. 

What are Ellen B.'s hours?

The Ellen B. is available 24/7. The Teller Assist feature is available from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.

What transactions can I do with Ellen B.? 

Customers can Withdraw, Deposit, or Transfer funds using Ellen B. You will need your debit card to process transactions outside of normal business hours. During normal business hours, you can activate Teller Assist to process transactions without a debit card. 

Are there any transaction limits?

DEPOSITS

  • There is no limit on how much cash you can deposit unless Ellen B.'s cash slot is full.
  • You may deposit up to 33 checks per transaction, not to exceed a transaction total of $10,000. Individual checks must not exceed $5,000. 

WITHDRAWALS

  • You may withdraw up to $300 per transaction. Please be mindful that LNB's daily ATM withdrawal limit is $1,000.

TRANSFERS

  • You can transfer up to $500,000 per transaction.

When will my deposit transactions post to my account?

Cash deposits will post immediately. Check deposits will post and become available at the next scheduled processing. Processing occurs at 6:00 PM every business day.

Can I deposit or withdraw coins? 

No, no coins are kept in Ellen B. For coin transactions, please visit us at our two other Ruston locations during business hours. 

Can I exchange bills with Ellen B.? 

Yes, you must first deposit the bills you have then withdraw the bills you want. 

Can use Ellen B. if I’m not a customer? 

Non-customers can use Ellen B. to make withdrawals only.  

How can I make my conversation with Ellen B. more private? 

You have the option to communicate with Teller Assist via chat box and/or headphones.

Is video footage recorded and saved?

Yes; video footage is recorded and saved for security purposes.
