“I am very uncommon because I would give someone my last and act like I have more to give. I have a very big heart.”
Smoke has big dreams on and off the field he plans to achieve. He has learned that “no matter what life throws at you, just put on your big boy pants and keep rolling. I also learned that FAIL means first attempt in learning.”
Smoke dreams of one day being in the NFL. Beyond that, he dreams of training athletes at his own facility, becoming a football coach at the collegiate level, and starting a charity foundation for kids in his hometown who are less fortunate.
An organization close to his heart is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. “St. Jude is very special to me because it helps those who are less fortunate, and I know people who went through the organization as patients.”
Before every game, Smoke looks at a picture of his grandmother who passed away.
