“One thing that makes me uncommon would be my height and the way I carry myself. Usually when I walk around people are so shocked to see a young woman who is 6’3” walking around and even when I wear heels I still have confidence even though I am taller than everyone else.”
Anna Larr has learned quite a few life lessons from playing basketball, but one of the biggest is time management and giving 100% because she never knows what the outcome may be. “Always just stay the course and trust the process and plan that God has set out for us,” she said.
Two organizations close to her heart are Dog Rescue | 4Paws Ruston Louisiana and Boys and Girls Clubs of North Louisiana. “My family and I are big animal people so we have always donated and supported 4 Paws Rescue. We are also involved in the Boys and Girls Club in the sports world because we want the kids to be involved with us and connect with them as well.”
After her athletic career is over, Anna Larr would like to move somewhere close to the beach around Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina. Her bucket list includes skydiving in Hawaii.
